Hello, my name is Darin Berntson, and I also go by the nickname of “Doc”
I live in the Greater Salt Lake City area, have been here all my life – I am divorced and have one boy.
I have developed this blog as a way to talk about items of interest that stand out to me. Could be personal or professional, with topics ranging from technology (hardware or software), reviews, media, entertainment or just the plain off the wall goofy comments.
This blog is where I will call home for my online postings, as it will be my Social Media Headquarters.
I am a big fan of being a dad, and everything that comes with that. Love to coach him in is sporting activities (baseball and football). Also enjoy traveling, movies and pretty much anything technology and entertainment related.
Currently I own a company called All Aces Marketing Inc.
I am always asked “Why the Doc nickname”? Well, in 2001 when we decided to sell our family business of 30 years, I knew I had to go do something on my own. What I decided to start was a company called Doc Concierge. It was to a be a corporate and individual concierge service. Here in Utah the idea could never take flight, and I decided to close that down in 2003, however the “Doc” nickname stuck with me, and now “iGoByDoc” has become a motto, and now I am turning that into a brand for myself.
